Roles and permissions: who can do what

The complete rights matrix based on your account type — solo, administrator, agent member, or creator member.

This article applies to accounts on an Agency plan, which bring several people together within a single organization. A Solo account doesn't have this role distinction: you effectively hold all rights on your own account.

Two role levels, independent of each other

Within an Agency organization, two distinctions combine. The first is the organization role: an administrator (billing, team management, white label, an overview of the whole team's CRM and calendar) or a member (limited access to their own properties, appointments, and leads). An organization always has exactly one administrator — this role can't be shared; a handover happens by demoting the current administrator and promoting someone else in their place.

The second distinction only applies to member accounts: a team role that qualifies them as an agent (full access to the Studio, CRM, and calendar for their own properties) or a creator — a restricted role dedicated to building in the Studio, on properties assigned to them via the automatic queue, never seeing the CRM, the calendar, or the organization's settings. An organization has at most one creator account, included free and not counted against billed seats.

What “professional profile” means

At sign-up, every account also chooses a professional profile — independent owner, real estate agent, or luxury concierge. This choice has no impact on the permissions described above: it's only used to adapt certain wording and examples to your line of work, not to restrict or extend your rights.

Finally, the VistaVisit support team can, if needed, assist you directly on your account to resolve a technical issue — an internal VistaVisit role, distinct from all those described in this table.
