The waiting room (Lobby), from the client's side
What your client sees and can do before the appointment starts.
As soon as a client opens their appointment link before the scheduled time, they land on the Lobby. This is a deliberately light step: the goal is to reassure them that the link works and to get them technically ready, not to have them fill out a form.
- A countdown shows the time remaining before the appointment starts.
- A camera and microphone test lets the client check their browser is working properly before the appointment, to avoid wasting time once it has started.
- An optional first name field can be filled in to personalize the welcome — never required.
- The property's amenity icons (see the 360° Studio category) are already visible, to give a first impression while waiting.
At no point does the Lobby ask for an account, a password, or anything beyond an optional first name: this is a constant principle throughout the visitor journey, from the first click on the link to a possible request via a call-to-action button.
